Terms of use

Last updated 29 September 2026. These terms are the rules for providing services electronically (regulamin) within the meaning of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means.

1. Who provides the service

btlines.io (“btlines”, “we”) is run by Julian Kautsch. Contact: [email protected].

2. What btlines is

btlines shows, for listed companies, figures taken from their periodic reports and earnings calls, a comparison with an earlier period, summaries and translations of what the company said, keyword-based tone scores and an illustrative reverse-DCF valuation. Browsing is free and needs no account. A free account lets you save companies as favourites.

3. Not investment advice

Nothing on btlines is investment advice, a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, or a personalised recommendation within the meaning of financial-services law. Valuations are simplified models that depend on assumptions you can change; tone scores are a signal, not a verdict. Decisions you take are your own; consider consulting a licensed adviser.

4. Accuracy, automation and AI

Figures, summaries and translations are extracted and produced automatically from company reports and calls, partly with artificial-intelligence models. They may be incomplete, out of date, misread (for example a wrong period, unit or column) or wrong. We check our data against other sources and correct errors we find, but we do not guarantee that any information on btlines is accurate, complete or current. Always check the company's original report before relying on anything shown here.

5. Sources and intellectual property

Company reports and call transcripts belong to their authors and publishers; btlines shows short extracts, figures and summaries of them with the source named. The btlines site, its design, texts and analyses are ours. You may use btlines for your own, non-commercial information; you may not copy it in bulk, scrape it automatically or republish it as your own service without our written consent.

6. Technical requirements

You need a device with internet access and an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript enabled (for signing in and favourites) and an email address or Google account (for an account).

7. Accounts

An account is created when you first sign in with an email link or with Google, and it is free. The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period. You can end it at any time by asking us to delete your account at the contact address above; we delete it within 30 days. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why by email. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy note.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use btlines unlawfully, submit unlawful content, try to break or overload the service, get around its security, or access other users' data.

9. Liability

btlines is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses resulting from reliance on information shown on btlines, including investment losses, or from interruptions of the service. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, in particular for damage caused intentionally, or the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Complaints

You can complain about how btlines works by writing to [email protected], describing the problem and how to contact you. We reply within 14 days.

11. Changes

We may change these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will publish the new version here with its date; if you have an account, we will tell you by email at least 14 days before a change that affects you, and you can close your account if you do not accept it.

12. Law and disputes

Polish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring a dispute before the courts that have jurisdiction under consumer-protection rules. Consumers can also use out-of-court complaint and redress options, such as the consumer ombudsmen (rzecznicy konsumentów).
